One Hundred Meters
No pictures today - I'm just posting to crow about the 100 meter (328 feet) dive I made today. This dive was the culmination of the Trimix training I've been doing in Lombok. Deep diving at these depths is easily the most dangerous thing I've ever done and when the possibility of a 100 meter dive was presented to me I wasn't sure I was going to do it.
Although I'd finished my training over a week ago we were never able to complete the full progression of deep dives before the Komodo to instructor scheduling and gas supply problems. So yesterday I did a warm up dive to 80 meters (saying things like that still sounds weird) and this morning set out for the big 100.
Anyway, the dive went pretty much flawlessly and I'm quite proud of the achievement. I may do a longer write up if anyone is interested in a play-by-play of what is involved in a serious deep dive.
More Komodo pictures tomorrow.

Wow Brian, Congrats.... I'm sure having 140+ pounds per square inch on every part of your body is a challenging and exciting experience.... I was only interested in going that deep in a submarine :).. Seriously. That is awesome! I would love to get more of a write up on it if you have the time.... What kind of equipment are you using at that depth?
Yeah, I'm going to do a full write-up. In the meantime, the gear is much the same as what I was wearing in this picture of me from a 55 meter dive in Koh Tao with the addition of another tank hanging from my right side (making 5 tanks total).
