Hanoi is a very pretty city, and I spent the day just wandering around taking it all in. The pictures are 1) the entrance to what remains of the Hoa Lo prison (otherwise known as the 'Hanoi Hilton' and now a museum), 2) an incense pot at Tran Quoc Pagoda, and 3) the One Pillar Pagoda in the HCM Mausoleum complex.

Next stop is Sapa, a mountain town in the northwest. I'm heading there by overnight train tonight. I'll probably spend a night or two there before heading back here to Hanoi.
