Back in Hanoi after a couple days in Sapa. The terrain really reminded my of Nepal with the terraced rice patties and small villages scattered here and there, but Sapa itself was nothing like any towns in Nepal. Unfortunately the weather was misty so it was tough to get any good pictures of the scenery, but I got a few that are OK. These first two pictures are from my hike down to Cat Cat village on the first day.



The second day a couple of us rented some motorcycles and a guide to see some of the surrounding area. The first picture shows our guide fixing one of the bikes which wasn't working so well when we first set out. The final picture is a shot of Sapa from accross the town square.
