Ganden Monastery

Today I got up early and took a bus out to see Ganden monastery. I don't have much to say (surprise), so here are the pictures.



In other news, it is time to think about the next leg of my trip - i.e. getting myself to the Nepal border. My current plan is to leave Lhasa around the 22'nd or 23'rd assuming I can find enough people to share a Land Cruiser by then. I'm not really ready to leave Tibet but it is difficult to travel outside the Lhasa area as an independent traveller these days and, due to the season, not many travellers are looking to share trips further afield.
